Does a Union Flag or the word London in a company name suggest British made?
We have always shouted about the fact that we make here in the UK. All our bespoke is tailored is in Leeds and our shirts made in Manchester.
It is so frustrating that some companies hide behind logos and flags, pretending that their goods are made here, because they know the value of goods “Made in England”. Their actions undermine the power of flying the flag!
Why don’t companies spell out exactly where their goods are made, to enable consumers to make a choice without having the wool pulled over their eyes?
Do we need legislation to protect truly British made?
