Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, please get in touch via email shop@susannahhall.com or call 07368 355458 to make a booking.

How long does it take to tailor a bespoke suit?

Our bespoke suits take about 15 weeks which allows time for an intermediate stage fitting. However for a wedding or any other specific date please add another 4 weeks.

What is the starting price for a two piece wool suit?

A men's and ladies 2 piece suit starts from £2000. Our prices depend on the cloth you select.

Are your suits really made in the UK?

Yes indeed they are! All our bespoke garments are built by our amazing tailors in Leeds.

Do you make shirts?

As well as our own range of British made stock shirts we tailor bespoke for both men and women starting at £220 inclusive of vat, these are made in Manchester.

Can I purchase a Gift Voucher?

We have Gift Vouchers available for the value of your choice, valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Do you do alterations?

I am sorry but for the time being I am unable to carry out any alterations.

Do we take measurements for a garment to be made elsewhere?

I don’t take measures for any reason other than for my clients who are placing an order with me.

How often should a suit be dry cleaned?

The worst thing to do is bombard the natural cloth with chemicals, so try to avoid dry cleaning until really necessary. Spot clean any spillages and use a really good quality clothes brush.  DO NOT use a trouser press as it will encourage the cloth to shine!

Can I boil wash my shirts?

Our advice is to wash our shirts at 30 or 40 degrees (as on the label) which will keep the shirt at its best. Iron slightly damp.

Do you carry out invisible mending?

No, however we do recommend British Invisible Menders Service in London.

Do you offer a refund on stock items?

We will exchange any stock item within 28 days of purchase as long as it has not been worn and is in perfect condition with the original packaging. We will refund the amount paid if an item is faulty.
